Description

You will manage and optimize GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) infrastructure and automation workflows.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and upgrade GHES to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Manage GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, and secure execution environments.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using matrix builds, caching, and parallel execution.
• Integrate GHES with DevOps tools including Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Vault.
• Enforce security policies and compliance frameworks such as SAML/SSO, OAuth, RBAC, and secret scanning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total experience with 3+ years explicitly in GHES administration.
• Deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and GHES microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with GitHub REST and GraphQL APIs, and GitHub CLI.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Experience with GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, and replication strategies.
• Competency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization with Docker.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including SOC2, ISO, or NIST.

Preferred Skills

• GitHub Actions Certification.
• Advanced understanding of DevSecOps and workflow automation.
