Description

You will administer the GitHub Enterprise Cloud environment, ensuring secure and compliant software development practices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud, managing users, teams, and repository permissions following least-privilege principles.
• Enforce security policies including branch protection, secret scanning, and code scanning; conduct security audits and respond to incidents.
• Design repository governance frameworks, manage access workflows, and oversee third-party integrations and API access.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks and maintain GitHub Actions workflows.
• Provide technical support to development teams on Git and GitHub issues, and maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Git version control and GitHub platform administration.
• Hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with GitHub APIs, REST APIs, and webhook integrations.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Programming knowledge in C# and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
