Description

Architect and lead the migration of source code, pipelines, and DevOps assets into new GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build new GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps environments, including repository structures, security models, and branching strategies.
• Assess existing repositories, permissions, and integrations to design target-state DevOps architectures and governance standards.
• Lead the migration of source code, pipelines, configurations, and associated DevOps assets, ensuring production readiness.
• Develop migration runbooks, implementation plans, validation procedures, and cutover documentation.
• Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure, and DevOps engineers to identify risks, dependencies, and remediation plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on GitHub Enterprise administration and migration experience.
• Strong Azure DevOps administration and migration experience.
• Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Proven track record in enterprise application migrations, divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, or carve-outs.
• Expertise in designing repository governance, permissions, and source control standards.
• Ability to create detailed migration runbooks and implementation plans.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale environment separations or platform migrations.
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
