Description

You will serve as the technical authority driving the modernization and secure consolidation of code repositories onto GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the migration from existing SSO to Enterprise Managed Users (EMU) for centralized user lifecycle management.
• Serve as the technical lead for integrating GitHub Enterprise Cloud with the Identity Provider (IdP) for SSO and MFA.
• Define, implement, and enforce a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model based on least privilege across all Organizations.
• Identify, catalogue, and prepare all code repositories for migration, integrating the catalogue with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Implement and manage GitHub Secret Scanning and review Push Protection globally to proactively block secrets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Extensive, hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise Cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in SAML SSO, SCIM, and IdP integration (e.g., Azure AD/Google Workspace).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and remediation.
• Deep understanding of API security principles (OAuth, token usage) and review of API integrations.
• Experience with the entire EMU setup and migration lifecycle.
• Ability to translate complex security findings (e.g., CodeQL results) into actionable remediation plans.
• Mandatory: GitHub Certified Administrator or equivalent enterprise security certification.
