Description

You will lead the consolidation of CI/CD pipelines from a legacy instance to GitLab, ensuring minimal disruption to development workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define migration requirements and specifications in collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Assess current CI/CD infrastructure to identify bottlenecks, security gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute migration plans, optimizing pipelines for efficiency and security during the transition.
• Ensure data integrity and operational stability throughout the migration process.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting post-migration to resolve any operational issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Expertise with GitLab features, including CI/CD pipelines, Artifact Registry, Repository Management, Project Planning, and Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD systems and pipelines.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex multi-instance GitLab migrations.
• Background in security hardening of CI/CD pipelines.
