Description
You will manage the General Ledger function and oversee month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the General Ledger function, including overseeing month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Support the Corporate Controller with monthly management dashboards and detailed variance analysis.
- Manage the payroll function in coordination with HR, overseeing 401(k) audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audit deliverables, statutory filings, and income tax payments.
- Review and update accounting policies to ensure compliance and process efficiency.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience working with multinational companies.
- Expertise in GL Accounting.
- Experience managing payroll tax filings, deductions, and 401(k) contributions.
- Ability to perform detailed variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
- Experience coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a professional certification in finance.
- Ability to work US Time-zone hours (9 AM to 5 PM EST).
