Description

You will own the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Glassbox systems in Linux environments, ensuring system availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage Java application hosting and Node.js deployments on Linux.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and system tasks using Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Implement and troubleshoot TLS/SSL certificates and connectivity issues across the stack.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve stability or performance issues.
• Document all processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of practical experience in systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Expertise in scripting languages including Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, and Perl.
• Thorough understanding of TLS/SSL certificate implementation and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong grasp of network protocols (HTTP/S, TCP) and web debugging using tools like Wireshark.
• Proven practical experience with HTML, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
• Working knowledge of version control and automation systems (Bitbucket, Artifactory, Blade Logic).
• Solid network troubleshooting skills using standard tools (ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Glassbox systems specifically.
