Description

You support, administer, and maintain EMS upgrade systems through testing cycles and daily operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, monitor, and maintain various EMS applications and interfaces.
• Perform structured and unstructured testing, logging defects in the tracking tool.
• Coordinate database updates and upgrades within EMS environments.
• Respond to system failures and operator questions on a 24/7 basis.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair EMS systems, applications, and interfaces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of system administration experience on Linux/Windows Operating systems.
• Experience working with RDDBMS (Oracle/SQL DB).
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with EMS vendor systems (GE EMS Suite preferred, or Hitachi/ABB, Siemens, OSI, GE PowerOn Reliance).
• Experience with SCADA/Inter Control-Center Communication Protocol (ICCCP).
• Ability to perform code builds, patch implementations, and migrations in EMS systems.
