Description

You will build scalable backend systems in an iterative agile environment. You own the delivery of quality software through continuous improvement and technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Write scalable and maintainable Go code to meet software requirements.
• Translate technical specifications into high-performing backend products.
• Own the delivery of quality software through continuous improvement.
• Collaborate within an agile team to implement iterative updates.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with the Go programming language.
• Hands-on experience with protobufs and gRPC.
• Deep understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns.
• Experience producing and consuming messages with Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Secrets-Manager, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containers.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other non-SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development and CI/CD best practices.
• Proficiency with GIT, VS-Code, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience using Datadog for tracing and debugging.

Preferred Skills

• SQL knowledge.
