Description

You design and implement dynamic payload transformations and configuration compositions to integrate multiple systems reliably and efficiently.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration compositions across APIs, services, and platforms.
• Transform, filter, and enrich JSON payloads using JQ and build reusable parameterized templates with Go templating.
• Compose requests and responses for downstream systems based on business rules and environment-specific requirements.
• Troubleshoot integration issues related to payload structure, payment composition logic, and partner integration failures.
• Collaborate with platform, API, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployments and maintain versioned integration assets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on expertise with JQ for JSON filtering, mapping, aggregation, and conditionals.
• Strong proficiency with Go templating, including conditionals, loops, and reusable templates.
• Experience integrating REST-based APIs, handling JSON, HTTP, and event-driven flows.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of payment failure scenarios, declines, and reconciliation impacts.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to support high-throughput, low-latency transaction systems.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with payment platforms and end-to-end payment lifecycles.
• Exposure to cloud-native deployments and Kubernetes-based platforms.
