Description

Lead the Extraction Pod by reverse-engineering legacy T-SQL systems (~50K LOC) and building static analysis tools in Go to automate rule extraction and specification.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Ingest Que SPs, triggers, DDL, and views; build ASTs and dependency graphs to identify dynamic SQL, cursors, and temp tables.
• Run Frontier RE pipelines to extract rule narratives with line-level T-SQL traceability and confirm rule inventory against business categories.
• Auto-generate Gherkin scenarios per rule and surface conflicts to Business/Rules Architects for resolution.
• Coordinate HITL review cycles with SMEs to lock specs and deliver traceability matrices linking stored procs to tests.
• Produce rule dependency graphs, cluster maps, and BRDs/PRDs from locked specifications.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong T-SQL and SQL Server expertise: stored procedures, triggers, dynamic SQL, and dependency analysis.
• Proficiency in GoLang for scripting static analysis and AST tooling.
• Experience with large-scale legacy code reverse-engineering or migration.
• Familiarity with LLM-assisted extraction tools (Azure OpenAI, Copilot, or similar).
• Gherkin/BDD specification authoring skills.
• Strong written communication for producing specs and BRDs.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare domain experience (claims, prior auth, DMEPOS rules).
