Description

You will own the development and deployment of scalable backend solutions using Golang.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Golang microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC.
• Create efficient MongoDB queries and manage CRUD operations using best schema practices.
• Deploy and manage applications across AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Containerize microservices with Docker and manage deployments via Helm.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and configure monitoring dashboards in DataDog.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in Golang.
• Practical experience integrating with and querying MongoDB.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and operate applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of observability tools, specifically OpenTelemetry and DataDog.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
