Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services for connected vehicle technology and telematics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-defined, tested, and maintainable code in a highly iterative agile environment.
• Solve complex distributed systems problems focused on scalability, low latency, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and validate features before customer release.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases while performing peer code reviews.
• Document requirements, specifications, and technical changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang).
• Hands-on experience with Protobufs and gRPC.
• Deep understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns.
• Experience using Kafka to produce and consume messages.
• Proficiency with AWS services including Secrets-Manager, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other non-SQL databases.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD best practices.
• Proficiency with Git, VS-Code, Jira, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience solving distributed systems problems at scale.
