Description

You will design and maintain production-grade GraphQL, RESTful, and event-driven APIs using Go, ensuring high availability and clean architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Decompose monolithic capabilities into well-bounded microservices with clearly defined API contracts using OpenAPI 3.x or AsyncAPI.
• Implement resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, and timeouts to ensure over 99.95% service availability.
• Build idiomatic Go code with comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests, maintaining over 85% code coverage on critical paths.
• Design database access layers for PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas, DynamoDB, and Redis, applying connection pooling and query optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps to validate deployment of containerized microservices on AWS ECS, including auto-scaling and health checks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using Go (Golang).
• Strong proficiency in GraphQL, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience working within an AWS-native ecosystem, including ECS, ALB/NLB, and X-Ray.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for API management and governance.
• Experience with DynamoDB, Redis, and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, versioning, and error-response schemas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing AI-ready APIs.
• Knowledge of RAML/OAS for API specifications.
• Familiarity with CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and AWS KMS for security and monitoring.
