Description

You will design, lead, and ship scalable distributed systems and new product features.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement architectural frameworks for high-volume transaction platforms.
• Partner with engineering leadership to curate technical architecture across codebase, databases, and infrastructure.
• Develop scaling strategies to support distributed systems reliability.
• Mentor team members and introduce tools to improve development velocity.
• Make significant technical decisions regarding development processes and system design.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Strong backend experience with Go, Java, Scala, Python, or C++.
• Deep understanding of data stores, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud deployments using AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and public web APIs.
• Experience working with JVM languages.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
