You will build and maintain data-intensive APIs and stream processing pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data-intensive APIs using a RESTful approach.
• Implement stream processing pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Create containerized application deployments with Docker.
• Design data models for large-scale relational or NoSQL databases.
• Apply Test Driven Development and unit testing to all codebases.

Required Skills

• 8 years of software development experience.
• 4 years of professional GoLang experience.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for stream processing.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
• Experience with Protocol Buffers and gRPC.
• Hands-on work in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Apache Beam or Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine or Kubernetes.
• Strong data modeling skills for relational and NoSQL databases.
