Description

You will develop and maintain extensible software systems using Go or Java within a UNIX environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement portable APIs using REST, SOAP, IDL, and gRPC protocols.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles to software projects.
• Develop and maintain code within UNIX environments using shell scripts (Perl, ksh).
• Integrate continuous integration and deployment architectures into the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Go or Java.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Web Services protocols including REST, SOAP, IDL, and gRPC.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX environments and shell scripting.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for relational databases like Sybase or Oracle.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience with C++, JavaScript, or Perl.
• Familiarity with SCRUM, Agile, and iterative development methodologies.
