Description

Engineer high-scale, low-latency backend and distributed systems handling 6M+ RPM throughput.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services ensuring high availability and low latency.
• Implement real-time event processing pipelines and data ingestion systems.
• Optimize system performance and reduce latency across core services.
• Manage reliability engineering processes including MTTR, DR, and BCP.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience building high-scale B2C platforms.
• Proficiency in Go and Java.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and microservices design.
• Working knowledge of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Experience with SQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Kafka and event streaming technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to optimize performance and reduce latency in production environments.
