Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using GoLang. You will own the architecture for high-availability services serving millions of consumers, ensuring clean code, effective documentation, and robust dependency management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly-scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using GoLang.
• Develop distributed systems interacting with SQL (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Manage deployment and lifecycle within AWS Lambda, Kafka, and gRPC environments.
• Write clean, well-documented code with effective Godoc comments and manage dependencies via GoModules.
• Participate in Scrum Agile activities including analysis, design, testing, and post-production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with GoLang.
• Strong proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres and MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, Linux, and containers/virtual machines.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Kafka, and gRPC.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and GoModules for dependency management.
• Understanding of the full SDLC in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go’s templating language.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
