Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang, with a focus on payment processing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize payment processing flows, including authorization, capture, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Integrate services with payment gateways, banks, wallets, and third-party APIs.
• Implement secure transaction handling, encryption, and data protection for financial systems.
• Handle concurrency, parallelism, and asynchronous processing within services.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and QA teams to meet business and regulatory needs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience with Golang in production environments.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with message queues or streaming technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of transaction lifecycles, idempotency, and consistency models.
• Understanding of security best practices, including TLS, encryption, and secrets management.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within payment systems or fintech environments.
