Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functionalities for Golang-based command-line tools.
• Develop and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Write technical specifications for new features and improvements.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process improvements, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchain upgrades.
• Lead the end-to-end development process focusing on clean code and maintainability.
• Own the production environment and proactively ensure reliability through observability practices.
• Implement a comprehensive, automated testing strategy, including unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Master containerization best practices for security and efficiency.
• Navigate the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Integrate static analysis tools like SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines to enforce high engineering standards

Experience Required

• Minimum of 8 years total engineering experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• At least 8 years of production experience in Golang development, specifically in CLI, DevOps, and API work.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced query writing and relational database design.
• Proven experience with API integration, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Commitment to software quality and expertise in various testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
• Proven track record in building developer tooling and automation pipelines.
