Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Golang.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend applications, services, and APIs using Golang.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and gRPC services within a microservices architecture.
• Improve application performance by addressing bottlenecks and optimizing database queries.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code reliability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) including concurrency, goroutines, and design patterns.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployment.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
