Description

You will build backend services in Go and lead the migration of legacy Java applications to a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Golang idioms and paradigms.
• Migrate legacy Java 8 and Play Framework applications to Go-based microservices.
• Design and maintain database schemas and queries in MariaDB.
• Manage cloud resources on AWS, specifically S3, and support CI/CD deployments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage version control with Git.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience with Golang.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 and the Play Framework.
• Proficiency with Go frameworks, dependency management, templating, and routers like Gorilla Mux.
• Experience with MariaDB and database schema design.
• Practical experience with AWS services, specifically S3.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS RDS for database management.
• Experience using Python for behavior tests.
