Description

You will design and build microservices to modernize legacy monolithic systems into event-driven architectures. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design system solutions and translate user needs into technical specifications for loosely coupled architectures.
• Develop, debug, and document custom applications using Golang.
• Partner with SRE, QA, and production support teams to ensure application performance and smooth lifecycle transitions.
• Test engineering resilience of software and automation tools.
• Provide post-implementation and ongoing production support.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Golang, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Experience designing REST APIs for high-volume clients.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within an Agile environment using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the payments industry and payments technologies.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
