Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for application components, from requirements analysis through post-installation validation. You will architect and build services using Go and Python across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will manage containerized deployments and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. You will implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage source control via GitHub/GitLab. You will analyze system metrics and logs using Splunk and Grafana, and handle asynchronous messaging with Apache Kafka. You will maintain data integrity in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. You will lead technical efforts for specific application components and adapt to both Waterfall and Agile SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and monolithic applications using Golang and Python.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and container orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Conduct requirements analysis, unit/integration testing, and post-installation validation support.
• Manage asynchronous data streams using Apache Kafka and monitor system health with Splunk and Grafana.
• Lead technical delivery for application components across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Golang (Go Lang) and Python.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Database experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile SDLC processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams for application components.
• Experience deploying applications in hybrid cloud environments.
