Description

You will design system solutions and develop custom applications to transition from monolithic legacy platforms to a loosely coupled, event-driven, microservices-based architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design software applications and translate user needs into system architecture.
• Develop, code, debug, and document new and existing applications.
• Partner with SRE, testing, and production support teams to ensure smooth development life-cycle transitions.
• Validate application performance, component integration, and engineering resilience.
• Provide post-implementation and ongoing production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in GoLang.
• Experience with Kafka and REST API design for high-volume clients.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Couchbase.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated build and test frameworks.
• Experience with Cassandra.
