Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for application components, from requirements analysis through post-installation validation. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable microservices and monolithic applications using Golang and Python across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage containerized deployments and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage source control via GitHub/GitLab.
• Analyze system metrics and logs using Splunk and Grafana, and handle asynchronous messaging with Apache Kafka.
• Lead technical efforts for specific application components and adapt to both Waterfall and Agile SDLC processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Golang (Go Lang) and Python.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Database experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams for application components.
• Experience deploying applications in hybrid cloud environments.
