Description

You will own the design, development, and deployment of production-ready Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions. You will transform monolithic systems into microservice-oriented architectures and maintain 24x7 mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy production-ready solutions for SDN architecture and technology.
• Refactor monolithic software systems into scalable microservice-oriented architectures.
• Build and deliver high-availability, production-quality software systems.
• Research and prototype new technologies to maintain service relevance.
• Collaborate with network architects and operations staff to resolve complex issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in design, debugging, and support.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, and Python.
• Experience with ODL, REST, RESTCONF, and RPC services.
• Strong background in scale-out infrastructure, distributed systems, and web services.
• Linux automation scripting using Ansible and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience within Linux networking and virtualization environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging infrastructures like Kafka, Thrift, or Proto-buf.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases including MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or SQL.
• Familiarity with ELK stack, Grafana, or Splunk.
