Description

Build and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang, focusing on microservices and real-time event processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices to replace monolithic components.
• Build Kafka-based solutions for real-time event processing and message-driven architectures.
• Deploy and manage applications within Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
• Optimize database queries and ensure data consistency across distributed systems.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to resolve incidents during on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of security, data protection, and DevOps practices.
