Description

Build foundational components for a greenfield project involving complex platform elements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Go services designed for deployment to Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement whole modules or specific code portions based on provided design guidance.
• Establish project standards and apply them to new code in the absence of existing patterns.
• Collaborate with team members during daily stand-ups to resolve technical ambiguity.
• Build and maintain platform components within a cloud environment.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang.
• Experience developing services deployed to Kubernetes and Docker.
• General cloud competency with AWS.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging platforms.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Ability to work independently on greenfield implementations.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes platform development including Custom Operators and CRDs.
• Envoy Proxy experience, including building filters and general configuration.
