Description

Lead backend engineering for scalable Golang microservices and cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Golang.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
• Deploy and monitor cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and ECS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Golang development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong understanding of API development, JSON, and gRPC.
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
