Description

You will lead the migration of a monolithic .NET MVC and SQL Server application into a modern, event-driven microservices architecture using Go and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Go (Golang) within a cloud-native AWS environment.
• Refactor and decompose existing .NET MVC monolith components into independent, event-driven services.
• Manage database migrations and data integrity strategies for the transition from SQL Server to distributed data stores.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
• Maintain and enhance frontend interfaces using Svelte within an Agile development cycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) for building high-performance microservices.
• Deep understanding of .NET MVC and legacy application refactoring.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database management.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on AWS.
• Practical knowledge of Svelte for frontend development.
• Proven track record in cloud-native architecture and event-driven design patterns.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
