Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-powered conversational applications using Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions with generative, goal-oriented architectures.
• Build, deploy, and maintain conversational agents using Dialogflow CX.
• Develop backend APIs, webhook integrations, and tool-calling capabilities for AI agents.
• Design prompts, manage conversational context, and optimize LLM interactions for voice and chat applications.
• Deploy applications using Google Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Integrate external APIs and manage complex data payloads for AI workflows.
• Create automated evaluation frameworks and Golden tests to validate AI agent performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize agent performance metrics, including latency.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain source code using GitHub.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable AI solutions.

Skills Required:

Python

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), modern type hinting, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Python package management using uv, pip, and virtual environments (.venv).
• Proficiency in Command Line Interface (CLI) tools and shell scripting.

Conversational AI / Agent Architecture

• Experience designing Generative AI agents using goal-oriented architectures.
• Understanding of Apps, Agents, Sub-agents, and Sessions within Dialogflow CX Agent Studio.
• Strong Prompt Engineering and context management skills.
• Experience optimizing LLM context windows for voice interactions.
• Good understanding of Dialogflow CX fundamentals.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience deploying applications using Google Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development on GCP.
• Proficiency with the gcloud CLI for project configuration and authentication.

API Integration & Tool Building

• Experience implementing Tool Calling / Function Calling for LLM-based applications.
• Ability to design and integrate external APIs for backend services.
• Experience handling pagination, flattening API responses, and processing Protocol Buffers (Protos).

Testing, Evaluation & CI/CD

• Experience creating automated agent evaluations and Golden tests.
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize AI agent performance metrics, including real-time latency.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Gemini CLI or Claude Code for agent development and debugging.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
