Description

You will design and implement enterprise cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring secure integration with existing applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy performant, scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud at enterprise scale.
• Integrate Google Cloud services with SaaS and on-premise technologies from vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and SAP.
• Automate complex infrastructure and tasks using scripting, coding, and IaC tools.
• Ensure IT compliance and risk management for regulated environments (SOX, PCI).
• Create and present technical architecture documents, diagrams, and executive briefings.

Required Skills

• Active Google Cloud Associate or Professional certification.
• Expert knowledge of Google Cloud services (GCP) and cloud-centric system solutions.
• Proficiency in automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Chef, or Puppet.
• Scripting and coding skills in Shell, Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, including compute, storage, virtualization, and high availability.
• Ability to troubleshoot large-scale enterprise ecosystems and manage SQL/NoSQL data.
• Proficiency in creating technical diagrams (Visio, Draw.io) and documentation.
• 13+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or architectural roles.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Generative AI and prompt engineering.
• Experience with containerization and deployment strategies for Kafka.
