Google Cloud Architect

You will design and implement well-architected data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, optimizing for cost, performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable patterns for application deployment and modernization while providing governance for adoption.
• Lead large-scale network migrations involving Load Balancing, DNS, Interconnect, CDN, Compute, and Networking.
• Manage cloud optimization practices by recommending reserved capacity, utilization strategies, and cost-saving architectural changes.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve GCP usage.
• Mentor senior and junior developers on cloud architectures, microservices, and container-based deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and strategy.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform product technology and underlying architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking, security, compliance, and migration patterns.
• Proven ability to implement cloud cost management via tagging, alerting, and financial monitoring configurations.
• Experience troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining root causes for complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and executive stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
