Description

You will design, build, and deploy scalable, cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform for large-scale enterprise systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and deployment of performant cloud business software on Google Cloud at scale.
• Integrate Google Cloud services with on-premise technologies and SaaS products from vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and SAP.
• Automate complex infrastructure and deployment tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Ensure IT compliance and risk management for regulated environments (SOX, PCI) within cloud applications.
• Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, and present recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Active Google Cloud Associate or Professional certification.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud services, including Kafka components, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, containerization, and test-driven development.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
• Ability to create technical diagrams using Visio or Draw.io and documents in Word/PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, high availability, and performance analysis for web-scale systems.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Generative AI and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Power BI for data representations and reporting.
