Description

You will own the infrastructure and automation for critical cloud services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage core services including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Design and implement networking solutions using VPC peering, Shared VPCs, firewalls, and Load Balancing.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, focusing on module writing and state management.
• Build and own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for deployments like Canary and Blue/Green.
• Troubleshoot system bottlenecks (CPU/Memory/IO) and resolve complex Linux kernel or systemd issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud IAM, etc.).
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep Linux knowledge (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS), including kernel tuning and LVM.
• Experience managing deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green releases.
• Familiarity with security principles like least privilege and service account management.
