Description

You will design, implement, and optimize data engineering workflows on Google Cloud Platform, serving as the subject matter expert for data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion and integration workflows.
• Manage and optimize Google Cloud components including Dataproc, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and GKE.
• Interface directly with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain high standards for data pipelines and infrastructure integration.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total professional experience in IT.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data workloads on GCP.
• Expertise in Dataproc.
• Experience with Cloud Composer and Airflow.
• Experience managing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering principles.
• Proven ability in data ingestion and integration patterns.
• Effective communication skills for customer-facing environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
