Description

You provide technical support and leadership for Google Cloud Platform environments, managing clusters and mentoring junior engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage GKE and Kubernetes clusters, handling deployments and scaling operations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring and logging.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
• Solve technical problems independently while collaborating across the team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IT or cloud support roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
• Expert knowledge of GKE/Kubernetes cluster management.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Helm, and Istio.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven experience in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
