Description

Lead L2 support for GCP environments with a primary focus on GKE and Kubernetes.

None of the work mode flags (is_remote, hybrid, on_site) are set to 1, so no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within GCP services and Kubernetes clusters.
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and team mentorship.
• Review and approve Change Requests within ServiceNow.
• Monitor environments using Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana to resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IT or cloud support roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking).
• Deep expertise in GKE/Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployments, and scaling.
• Proficiency with Docker, Helm, and Istio.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer certifications.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
