Description

Design and build enterprise-level application and integration solutions for the Disney Experiences group.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions based on organizational strategy and define application tiers, frameworks, and interfaces for complex projects.
• Develop business-critical software using engineering processes that emphasize reusability and code reuse.
• Lead technical project teams through the design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Establish design and development standards, procedures, and technical project-level work product reviews.
• Analyze existing application environments to prepare them for strategic migration to the cloud.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant architecture experience designing client and back-office software solutions.
• Proven experience architecting solutions in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar cloud providers.
• Deep understanding of Microservices design patterns.
• Proficiency with Java, Kubernetes, and Web technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL and Relational Databases, including Couchbase.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP and HTTP.
• Proficiency in multiple architectural modeling technologies.
• Ability to work across multiple operating system environments using various tools, languages, and scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience resolving complex support problems.
• Participation in program-level architecture decisions.
