Description

Lead cloud migration initiatives and architect cloud-native solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data migration pipelines to move on-premise data to Google Cloud Platform.
• Code cloud-ready data applications using the GCP ecosystem.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for high-visibility Google Cloud computing and hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards and best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
• Apply DevOps principles to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in application development and delivering complex, enterprise-wide IT solutions.
• 10+ years of experience using Python and Hadoop.
• 3+ years of experience leading Google Cloud migration projects.
• 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and securing GCP migration applications.
• 3+ years of experience in solutioning and implementing cloud-native solutions.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Airflow, GCS, and Dataplex.
• Strong ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• BS/BA degree or higher in a science or technology-related field.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in high-impact cloud projects.
