Description

You will lead the design, build, and deployment of air-gapped, Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure for a federal program.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure GDC air-gapped clusters and network architecture within offline constraints.
• Develop Terraform modules, Kubernetes manifests, and policy bundles for fully offline deployments.
• Configure GKE Enterprise clusters, Anthos services, and private registries using deterministic pipelines.
• Establish disconnected CI/CD workflows and mirrored repositories for container images, Helm charts, and Terraform modules.
• Conduct cluster lifecycle validation, upgrades, SIT/UAT, and controlled environment builds.
• Ensure technical compliance with PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), GKE Enterprise, and Anthos.
• Deep Kubernetes engineering expertise, including cluster creation, upgrades, and node image pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for air-gapped environments.
• Experience with GitOps, ACM, and disconnected CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of private registries and mirrored repositories.
• Familiarity with PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight security frameworks.
• Australian Citizenship and NV1 Security clearance (or baseline clearance ready to upgrade).
• Any Graduate degree.
