Description

You will design and manage large-scale distributed systems and container orchestration within Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate containers using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), managing clusters and deployment strategies.
• Automate GCP operations using Python, Bash, and GCP SDKs or APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Source Repositories, and Container Registry.
• Administer GCP databases including BigTable, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Logging and Monitoring to detect anomalies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing or traditional IT infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and GCP services.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Bash scripting.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud Networking, Firewalls, and storage.
• Experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket) and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Kafka, ETL, Big Data, and Data Warehousing.
• Competency in Postgres/PostgreSQL and Regular Expressions (RegEx).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenShift and Machine Learning workloads.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies using JIRA or Rally.
