Google Looker Developer

You will design, build, and own Looker dashboards and models for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LookML code and Looker models.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and style guides for LookML development.
• Create and maintain documentation for Looker development processes and procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users of Looker dashboards.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams using Agile Scrum methodology.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Looker Developer.
• Expert knowledge of LookML.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools like Fivetran, Stitch, or Talend.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with healthcare data.
