Description

Lead the design, deployment, and management of Google SecOps SIEM solutions to ensure effective security monitoring across diverse environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Google SecOps SIEM across the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Design and implement security use cases, detection rules, and playbooks to minimize false positives.
• Manage log ingestion pipelines and develop custom parsers to normalize data for analysis.
• Integrate SecOps SIEM with existing security tools including SOAR, EDR, and firewalls.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct team training, and maintain documentation for configurations and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in security operations or related technical roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google SecOps SIEM deployment, management, and optimization.
• Proficiency in log management, SIEM rule creation, and threat detection techniques.
• Expertise in YARA-L for custom rule creation.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Experience with Python and JSON for automation and scripting.
• Deep understanding of SOC workflows, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Practical experience integrating security tools such as SOAR, EDR, and firewalls.
• Ability to monitor and optimize SIEM performance for scalability and reliability.
