You will execute assignments focused on the interpretation, administration, and implementation of legal and regulatory responses within a utility or cybersecurity environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance and validation reviews of regulatory compliance implementations, including processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide input for the development of regulatory compliance functional processes and procedures.
• Validate associated evidence to support compliance with cybersecurity policy and critical infrastructure requirements.
• Work directly with internal business areas to ensure project goals are met, escalating, classifying, and documenting issues properly.
• Assist project teams with developing work breakdown structures, completion estimates, and technical project deliverables.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in utility, cybersecurity, auditing, compliance, or regulatory environments if you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience if you do not hold a degree.
• 2+ years of experience working directly with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity, auditing and compliance, and risk assessment.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity policy, standards, processes, and controls development.
• Ability to manage confidential information with high integrity.
• Capability to pass a personnel risk assessment including a seven-year background screening.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity certifications issued by GIAC, ISACA, or (ISC)2.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO.
• Experience implementing new enterprise processes in environments with distinct departmental processes.
