You will manage the maintenance and enhancement of mission-critical health and human services benefit systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the health and maintenance of critical benefit systems serving vulnerable populations.
- Manage system enhancements driven by policy changes, evolving operational procedures, and updated technology requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary application teams, including track leads, analysts, developers, and testers.
- Own the end-to-end SDLC process for system maintenance and enhancements.
- Provide coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff.
- Diagnose client issues and solve problems using technical analysis and judgment.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of consulting experience within Government Health & Human Services (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Welfare, or Unemployment Assistance).
- 8+ years of experience working with health and human services policy and mandates.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- 3+ years of consulting experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end SDLC process.
- Ability to travel 20% to 50% on average.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
