Description

You will manage the holistic lifecycle of Federal grants and State appropriations, ensuring compliance and financial integrity throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Identify grant opportunities and secure necessary funding from State or Federal sources.
• Monitor subrecipient performance and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Execute the closeout process for grant awards and verify final reporting requirements.
• Interpret and apply financial regulations, programmatic policies, and reporting mandates.
• Communicate complex fiscal procedures to internal programs, vendors, and agency personnel.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience identifying, applying for, and securing State or Federal grants.
• 8 years of experience monitoring and closing out State or Federal grant awards.
• Experience in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of State government structure, administrative procedures, and financial processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong research and technical writing skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with contractors, administrators, and the public.
