Description

You will validate Graphics IP across the entire product lifecycle, from pre-silicon design through production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute validation strategies and unit test plans for Graphics IP.
• Isolate and debug issues found in Graphics IP during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases.
• Lead cross-functional technical discussions to drive root cause identification and resolution.
• Drive technical innovations to enhance validation capabilities, including tool and script development.
• Collaborate with Design, Software, and Tools teams to define testing and debug methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in validation engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of SOC architecture and concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of Graphics hardware pipeline and graphics engines.
• Strong understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver-level interactions and failure points.
• Experience with IP/System level bring-up and SOC debug techniques.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, C/C++, or Ruby.
• Experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation methodologies.
• Knowledge of standard power management features and use-cases.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with semiconductor industry validation.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
